Das Panda ist vor vielen Jahren vom Hanfsack zum Linggplatz umgezogen. Die Qualität der Speisen ist seit jeher konstant sehr gut. Meiner Meinung nach ist das Panda immer noch das beste Restaurant für chinesische und thailändische Küche in Bad Hersfeld. Die Räumlichkeiten sind hell, freundlich und im asiatischen Stil sehr sauber gestaltet. Die drei Damen im Service, die gefühlt 365 Tage im Jahr arbeiten, sind immer schnell, freundlich und aufmerksam, wirken jedoch in Stoßzeiten leider etwas überfordert. Die Speisen sind ausgezeichnet und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist angemessen! Es gibt kleine und normale Portionen. Oft essen wir dort im Restaurant oder können nach telefonischer Bestellung Speisen abholen. Eine Tischreservierung am Abend ist unbedingt zu empfehlen! Ab 6 Personen kann man auch einen runden Tisch mit Drehaufsatz reservieren. Im Sommer kann man gemütlich draußen auf dem Linggplatz neben einem plätschernden Brunnen sitzen. Meiner Meinung nach reicht eine kleine Portion für zwei Personen aus, um gut satt zu werden, wenn man z.B. eine Frühlingsrolle als Vorspeise nimmt. Oft wird eine Portion mit einem zusätzlichen Gedeck serviert, das 1,50 € kostet. Frühlingsrollen kosten ca. 2,50 €, eine ordentliche Portion gebackene Banane mit Honig 3,00 €. Hauptgerichte kosten zwischen 6 und 18 € pro Portion. Es ist also für jeden Geldbeutel etwas dabei. Die Getränkepreise sind moderat: großes Spezi 2,60 €, kleines Spezi 1,50 €, Kristallweizen 3,10 €, Ginger Ale 2,00 €. Es wird kein Buffet angeboten und es gibt leider keinen Lieferservice. Parken kann man auf dem nahe gelegenen, bis 18 Uhr gebührenpflichtigen Marktplatz.

The food was delicious and the service fast. the prices were still. the chef sang loud in the kitchen and the environment was a little old school. overall not bad, but also not really good. service: din in the meal type: lunch: 4 service: 4 atmosphere: 3
