What Matthias Appel doesn't like about Restaurant Chamai:
We made a reservation and then drove 30 minutes only to get turned away at the door. I think if you're going to cancel my reservation, you should give me a call! Very unprofessional and rude, and it didn't even look very busy when we arrived. 2 stars because the menu looked good enough to waste my time driving there. View all feedback.
We have made a short holiday for some hikes in the national park seven mountains. we were in the hotel weinhaus hope. in an area where often only the normal tourist German cuisine is offered, we did not expect to find such a charming room with exceptional food. we ordered the 5-course dinner and it was great. we started with an salat with waking, followed by a soup with smoked oyster mushrooms. the third cure was a flamed cod carpaccio. barbarable boobs, lens and orange salad, chicory was the main course. the desert was a selection of cream brule and other good things. all were supplied with the right wein from the very friendly staff. it was one of the best experiences in a restaurant that I had in the last few months and can only recommend this place. they have to reserve in front of the coast, as the tables are limited.

We ate with our children. fantastic delicious fish. great eating, weaker in dessert. highly recommended.
They would not expect a great fish restaurant in oberhausen, but chamai is really a great place to go! fish is in focus, but also other dishes such as very delicious meat or even vegan/vegaterian dishes are very good. if you want to have great fish. what, chamai is the place to go! beautiful and cozy atmospehere round the food quality.
We made a short vacation for some hikes in the Nationalpark Siebengebirge. We stayed at Hotel Weinhaus Hoff. In an area where often just the normal touristic German food is offered we did not expect to find such a charming space with exceptional food. We...did order the course dinner and it was superb. We started with a salad with quails, followed by an asparagus soup with smoked oyster mushrooms. The third course was a flamed cod carpaccio. Barbary breast, lentil and orange salad, chicory was the main course. The desert was a selection of Creme brule and other good stuff. All was delivered with the right wine from the very friendly staff. It was one of the the best experiences in a restaurant that I had in the last couple of month and only can recommend this place. You will have to reserve upfront since tables are limited.
