Barkly's Restaurant - BAKERY HILL

Each time we go to Ballarat, Barkly's restaurant is where we choose to go for a meal. The food & deserts are excellent & prices range $15- includes a house wine with your lunch. The service is great too! Our food does not take long & if you need any thing they are quick to come over__very friendly staff

Had a wonderful night out with friends. The restaurant was spotless and set beautifully. It was a quiet night with only 2 wait staff but they were brilliant. The food was delicious from the fish of the day (Barramundi) to the excellent coffee to finish the night. Highly recommended if you are looking for great food in a comfortable welcoming venue.

After spending Easter in Ballarat and realising there's not much open, we found Barkly's Restaurant online and based on its reviews decided to give it a go. Amazing! Food was awesome. Decent portion sizes, beautifully cooked steak and desserts to die for. Wait staff were fantastic and after commenting on the lack of nutritious kids' meals, they 'surprised' the kids with salad next to their pizzas.

Had a lovely dinner here before visiting White Night on 4/3/17.Staff were very helpful and service was quick and efficient. Both my friend I had a shared entree, our main course was very tasty and filling. Dessert was a meringue/ice cream/berry combination which acted as a birthday dessert - delicious!! Would definitely recommend as an unpretentious place for dinner while visiting Ballarat

We had a trip to ballarat and stayed in barkly motorlodge. I am very foodiee, i love hygienic food in a good place and will definitely rate barkly's restaurant as one of te best i visited in ballarat. Must try friends. The food was delicious and hygienic as well
