We go to there every Thursday to get take away. My grandson loves fried rice with extra prawns. Barbecue pork is very tasty. Mixed vegetables is good. Staff are so friendly. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ning Kwong Chinese Restaurant:
The food quality is pretty good. Roast duck and meats were good. Fried sambal kangkong (spicy veges) was authentic but a tad too salty. Otherwise, a good place to go for authentic Hongkong style cooking. View all feedback.
My group came to this restaurant for a gathering and we tried the spicy sour crab soup, sizzling tofu, golden prawn, chow mein, and chilli pepper squid. Overall, I would say that the food here is good, definitely better than most Chinese restaurants in the suburbs that I have been to. The sizzling tofu was particularly impressive, as it was served on a hot plate which made it very enticing. The soup was a bit too sour for my liking, but that is subjective. I'm not a fan of chow mein and their version did not change my opinion, although I appreciate that they used the correct type of crunchy dry noodles. The golden prawn was excellent. I probably wouldn't come here alone for a meal, but I would recommend it for a dinner or lunch with friends who live in the area.
Their roast pork is absolutely delicious and the service is consistently friendly! While the main dishes can occasionally be a bit bland, it's not a common occurrence. This restaurant is definitely one of my favorite Chinese spots.
I wanted to celebrate a few birthdays. we were a big group of about 60. when we were such a big group, they did well. the meal lasted over an hour and half, but there was time to catch and connect. the food was worth waiting.
Food, service and ambiance are always excellent. So very friendly and welcoming as well
