It was a cold and rainy day so this was a great place to take our two dogs as they have a covered in verandah area where dogs are allowed. The food was amazing beautifully presented and delicious, with great service. And the coffee was so good I had to have a second one! View all feedback.
What Elissa Kshlerin doesn't like about Webster's Market & Cafe:
Very clean and modern setting but does get noisy once busy. Attentive staff and the food was very well presented, fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. My tea wasn't overly hot and not the nicest blend I've ever had. View all feedback.
1st time for Breakfast and we were very impressed. I had the Breakfast plate and loved the variety of Warm Pear with Yoghurt / Sour Dough /Fruit Toast/Smashed Avo / Smoked Salmon and Poached Egg all excellent. My husband had the Webster Breakfast with homemade hash brown and field mushrooms and tomato. Quality Ingredients. We left very satisfied but forgot our IPAD. Returned to find it safely secured by staff.. Much appreciated .. Highy recommend
One of the best breakfasts i've had in Ballarat, deffs recommending it to my fellow colleagues. Simply amazing!! Great service. Great coffee. Brilliant food.
Visited this little gem based on urban list review; sadly on this occasion it didn't live up to the hype.Hubby ordered scrambled eggs on sour dough with Colombian beans. The eggs look like they had curdled (odd texture and visually unappealing) and the beans were served in a small ramekin on the side of the plate, lots of deep red sauce, beans were small, but not plentiful and somewhat lost in the sea of red sauce.I ordered the chocolate, cranberry and hazelnut granola with a quinelle of yoghurt and poached pear. What was there on the plate was beautifully plated, sadly the granola fell short, no crunch, no texture. Best described as a chocolatey mouthful of Cocopops without the crackle and pop! The only saving grace was the beautifully poached pear on top.We ordered coffees (soy flat white) both coffees had split and were sent back. When the waiter came to collect our plates with the half eaten food, he whisked them away without a second thought. And so after paying our bill, we also whisked away and hope that the kitchen was just having a bad day.
Dropped in recently for coffee with my wife and decided breakfast was needed too. Definitely not regretting that decision! The coffee was good, the food very good and the service prompt, efficient and friendly.Nice atmosphere with dining inside and out. Location is a reasonably quiet tree lined Ballarat suburban street with plenty of parking. Not exactly where I'd expect to find a cafe like this, but glad we did.
Coffee was strong and smooth, not at all burnt or bitter. The customer service was lovely. The waitress who looked after us was friendly and helpful and checked that everything was ok with the meal/coffee.
