What Elisabeth Kaufmann doesn't like about Cafe Restaurant Michaelsberg:
If you are looking for a place is a little in the shadows underneneath old trees but with a great panorama of the city, then this is a nice cafe to go to. However, that said, the food wasn't spectacular and the service was super...slow. After we received our desserts and drinks, the staff disappeared and we could not seem to either get their attention and then in the end they simply stayed away to do some cleaning in... We sat in the garden of the restaurant and enjoyed coffee and cake with great views of the roofs of bamberg and the surrounding landscape. back to the city you should go on the benediktinerweg (below the terrace).
Very nice restaurant with a good service. the 3-course menu was very well put together.
I was with my friends in this restaurant and must say that we were somewhat disappointed. we had to wait forever for our coffee and the potato soup I ordered needed over half an hour. that the selection and complexity of the feeds keeps within limits and the suppe was probably already finished and is only briefly heated, that was just too long. especially since I had to get my train and so the suppe had to reorder again. On my question, when it would finally come, I received from the service only the flat-rate answer "same".For a small ice chocolate my friend paid 4,80€, which is almost more expensive than in the ice cream. It can be nicely sitting outside, but I can't recommend this restaurant.

I stay with my first one-shoulding - you have to look for a long time in bamberg to eat so well and also be served friendly. we'll go back there if we're in bamberg.
