I have been to Platform One several times, usually to celebrate a birthday, something that needs a bit more. It's easy to book, park and the restaurant experience is very good. View all feedback.
What Majvor Bengtsson doesn't like about Platform One:
Great range of beers on tap some of which are brewed in house. The burgers are huge like too big to place in ones mouth big. Onion rings are amazing! I had a Rueben which was quite nice but still took half home. Not my favourite burger spot but would definitely come back and love to try all their beers! View all feedback.
Absolutely one of the most amazing venues that defines the revolutionary innovation Bankstown Sports has undergone. Changing up the game when it comes to the traditional RSL or Leagues Club it's a great space. With a view into the microbrewery you can watch the transitional processes from grain to fermentation, it's the large stainless steel beer tanks act as a feature wall leading down into the basement beer and burger haven. 30 taps - craft beers & ciders, a burger menu and gourmet delicatessen platters. An in-house beer range - Basement Brewhouse pilsner, sparkling, pale coupled with Australian craft faves, cider, wine and cocktails on tap make this a great destination! The level of effort and care alone in creating and supplying its own products to patrons is an indication of the standards and efforts in creating the ultimate experience for your occasion! Wasn't sure what to expect when I came in, and was completely gobsmacked. The sophisticated cheese and Brewhouse Share board of cured meats is a perfect match for the ultra modern fit out and classy interiors of open copper ducting and piping in the ceiling, fireplace and barrell shaped seating booths. The Flamin Scotch Burger was just messy and spectacular - great cut of meat with all of its oozing trimmings melting and bleeding into each other with each delicious bite! Absolutely impressive space and menu!

Great place and definitely one of our favourite restaurants. As the name may hint at, you are able to dine in old train carriages that have been restored and are a delight to eat in. There is an option to eat outside the carriages but the experience of eating inside these carriages is fantastic and feel more like dining in pristine high class dining cars. The restaurant is expensive, but from my experience this tends to mean you get delicious food everytime and are never disappointed. Love the seafood platter, but doesn't leave room for anything else! The restaurant is inside Bankstown Sports Club which can make it a little annoying if all you wanted to do is eat at the restaurant. The club itself is a great venue though so it can be a good place to hangout after your meal if you wanted to.
We were here tonight for dinner - Monday night. Thought we would try a few things off the menu. We had: Crab and prawn potstickers Baby octopus Oysters kilpatrick Corn croquettes Seafood linguini Service was great, so was the wine - can't fault the team. However as for the food.... Potstickers were burnt on the bottom Octopus as good with the spicy sauce by maybe too over cooked Oysters - would not order - bacon was not crunchy at all and overall no flavour for a kilpatrick oyster Corn croquettes - were great, best thing on the menu Linguini though.... the lobster that comes with it was well and truly overcooked (hard to eat), mussels and prawn were good but the pasta was undercooked and he overall dish very much underwhelming! For the price, I would suggest that even anywhere else at the Bankstown sports club provides much better quality of food - I can say that as we have been dining here for the last 10 weeks almost every night. Hopefully the next guest has a better experience but given it was a quiet evening, would hate to see what the food was like during a busy rush. AD
