We went to the restaurant for breakfast on October 3rd to celebrate a birthday. We waited for service for 15 minutes only to be told that we couldn't order breakfast because it was already 11 o'clock. We had arrived well before that but were still denied service. Cozy place with just a few items to choose fromcheap and tastyTwo guys were running the whole deal that day feeding about 25 people--impressive.
The Barrhead Golf Club, the course outside of town on airport road is the nicest place around town for dining. You are surrounded by trees and a great golf course. Menu is limited, but good value. You can dine on the deck or in air conditioned comfort.
Played this course May 15. Les Furber designed course which means difficult greens. Course was in very nice condition and a solid test. This was a practice round for me as the Alberta Golf Tour will be playing a tournament there later this season. (The AGT is an fun amateur tour for players of all skill levels). The course is walkable. Course is also relatively open which means the wind can kick up and cause some issues. Friendly staff.
