Red Rooster - BASS HILL

Two trains out to Liverpool to see how my car was going and finding that she drives well enough to bring home, we drove home along the Cumberland Highway

Fun place good food. Large menu with inside seating. Drive through. Food is hot and fresh,. Try the Classic roasted meal.

This Red Rooster was clean and well presented. The service staff were friendly and efficient. The order was delivered promptly and was fresh and hot. One small issue, the size of the chickenitself seems to have shrunk over the last 12 months!!

Ordered the stackpack. KFC at least has proper chicken in their burgers. All I got at Red Rooster was a burnt chicken patty that in no way matched their picture. I prised the patty apart wondering whether I could actually eat it. Decided to return it and the manager, upon peering in the bag, refused an order swap because it had been touched...I wanted to exchange it for a classic roast and forgo the burgers altogether. The manager stated it is how the patties are made and they're on a timer..well someone must have fallen asleep at their station! He pretty much dismissed me as he told one of the staff to serve the next customer. So I'll have to downgrade atmosphere too because it's off-putting to return and by chance, be served by him. At the minimum, he should have at least apologised. Hardly the way in which to "solicit" repeat business. My dissatisfaction deserved, at least, a freshly made burger of the same type.

This restaurant is fun and serves delicious food. They have a wide selection on their menu and plenty of indoor seating. The food is served hot and fresh. Be sure to try the classic roasted meal - it's a must!
