We love the King William and have been going there for some years, mainly for lunch, so we have seen a number of different managers. We consider the current owners, the chef and his wife, are the best yet. The food is delicious and well served. A quiet and very friendly bar selling decent pub grub. We had a very nice lunch here.
I went to this restaurant for my birthday and the food was incredibly tasty. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was charming. It's a small place, so make sure to make a reservation ahead of time.
We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff were amazing. It's definitely a great place to visit!
Taken here for early Mother's Day treat. Food excellent and plentiful and service very good. I had pate for starter and pork loin for main. My son and daughter in law had mushroom and goat's cheese starter followed by lamb bourguignon and fish and chips respectively. Desserts were lemon meringue roulade, crumble and cheesecake. None of us could fault either quality or quantity. Also had an excellent bottle of white wine. Will definitely be making a return visit.
I had to get up twice to ask for service and the food was very poor quality and the portions were very small, even though I ordered a large size.
