The owner is very kind and friendly. I have ordered many times and my favorite dish is the pineapple fried rice. My colleague also enjoys it, and her family visits the restaurant frequently as well. View all feedback.
What Madelynn Mraz doesn't like about Aroy Thai:
I ordered pickup takeaway. To begin with, I had requested an 8pm pickup; I arrived at 8pm exactly and they were 10 minutes late. The duck pancake and chicken satay sticks were delicious however the massaman curry was extremely tough and thus unpleasant to eat. This is usually my favourite dish and when done well, should melt in the mouth. I was quite disappointed. Whilst the prawn pad Thai was of acceptable quality,... View all feedback.
I have been dining at Aroy Thai since the day it opened, and my family and I were actually the first customers to dine in. Throughout the years, the restaurant has had various owners and staff members. The food has always been consistently good, served in a relaxed and casual atmosphere. However, recently, the quality has noticeably declined. It seems that the current owners/operators may not even be Thai, which is disappointing. Aroy Thai used to be an iconic restaurant in Baulkham Hills, but it seems to have lost its charm.
We placed an order for delivery and were told it would arrive within thirty minutes. However, the food ended up being delivered an hour later, leaving our hungry kids waiting impatiently. To make matters worse, the quality of the food was disappointing. This restaurant really needs to step up its game.

This is usually my favourite dish and when done well, should melt in the mouth. I was quite disappointed. Whilst the prawn pad Thai was of acceptable quality, it was gluggy and only included 6 prawns. Overall, I can't say that I was overly impressed and when there are so many other restaurants in the area, I think I'll give somewhere else a go next time.
Dining I is a variable experience, but ordering via eatitnow is disastrous. 50 mins late, entrees were cold (despite being assured the order would be fresh and only had to be delivered 5 mins away), wrong rice in the order makes me think the order was robbed from somewhere else. As I said, previous owners had a better reputation.
