Black Swan - Beckingham

During my stay at QMC hospital, I met the owners of this fantastic hidden restaurant gem. So, I decided to go with two friends for Sunday lunch, one of whom had been there before. The starter was incredible, followed by the outstanding main course of loin of pork. I always judge Sunday lunches by the roast potatoes, and I must say the ones at Black Swan were truly amazing. The dessert was also delightful. I highly recommend Black Swan, and 5 stars seem too low - I would give it 10 stars! Parking was easy as well.

The liver was a bit overcooked, making it slightly tough. However, overall it was a fantastic meal with delicious food and excellent service. The dining experience was for lunch, and the price per person ranged from £30 to £40. The food was rated 4 out of 5, service 5 out of 5, and atmosphere 5 out of 5.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant for Sunday lunch. The staff was friendly, the food was great with perfect portion sizes, and there was something for everyone in our group. The desserts were especially delicious. I would highly recommend this place for a dine-in lunch. The price per person was between £20-£30. I would give the food a rating of 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 4. I recommend trying the Cheese Soufflé.

Lovely village pub at the end of a quiet lane. Although the rooms were fairly small inside, the atmosphere was quiet and not crowded. Service was always very fast and friendly, the food was cooked perfectly! No vegetarian options were on the menu but we contacted them in advance and were able to pre-order from a few options. This place was a great find and I'd definitely return. Vegetarian options: Advisory to contact in advance to check the options.
