Only moved to this area 3 months ago, but always look for a local fish and chip shop. This one didn't disappoint. What a find. Beautifully cooked food, friendly staff, lovely clean premises. Have only tried fish and chips so far on a number of occasions, as they are so yummy. Will try the burgers next as they have been recommended. I love the idea for the cafe to strengthen community ties and help the under privileged. But unskilled cook when i went there for a bite with a mate. Purchased burger and chips with milkshake. Milkshake was pleasurable but not so much with the burger. Fillet was heavily over cooked and charred with very little sauce. Chips were also good. Ill give it another shot. View all feedback.
I haven't been around for over a year. new owners. carving with speck and hollandaise sauce ordered. serving was large (2 pieces), speck was delicious and top quality. sauce was delicious. will be back soon.
Awesome service and food, hard to say more, but these guys do an awesome job, and get it just right. Not too much oil, calamari is always great! And most make it tough! not here, its great!
On arriving we were greeted by the friendly waitress who gave us a menu and told us were we needed to order. After ordering we sat down having a drink and noticed the atmosphere was very cosy and the staff were chatting with everyone. A...short time later our on-tray came out and looked and tasted great. Our main meal came out only 20 minutes later witch we were very surprised how fast it was as there were many people eating there. Our mains were cooked exactly how we order and larger than we have got else were. Each time the waitress came pass she would ask how the food was and if we needed anything. Our diner was brilliant and the the prices were reasonable. Over all a Great night out
