My partner and I had breakfast at this cafe today for the second time and we were very impressed by both the coffee and the food. Owning a cafe ourselves we know what is required to produce food of this standard consistently. What User doesn't like about WoodHouse Cafe:
Fantastic contemporary industrial design fit-out welcomes us to new cafe on High St. Bright and clean look.At 9 am on a weekday we look forward to a simple 'big brekky'. Unfortunately the eclectic menu disappoints our simple wish. Ordered pork benedict (has eggs!) and burger (Katsu Chicken) with chips. The coffee was excellent and the food was amazing! We are in town for the weekend and will definitely come back tomorrow to explore more dishes on the menu. The croque Monsieur was particularly outstanding - two thumbs up!
Good staff, good food, good atmosphere. Only let down was being situated next to the entrance door being left open and the puréed avocado which needs some 'chunk ' to it.
We love this place. Have been here a number of times now and have really enjoyed each visit. Staff are always friendly and helpful. We most recently shared the spiced cauliflower dish and Autumn salad. Both were full of flavour and good size. Our long blacks have been spot on each time. Can’t wait to come back and try more off the menu
I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and lovely. I ordered a summer salad for brunch and the portion was generous, perfect for sharing. The chai latte was also delicious, with a great aroma. I would definitely return to this place.
The Iced Chai is absolutely AMAZING! Definitely recommend! The food is decent sized portions and happy for added or changed ingredients on menu items, staff are also friendly
