Contribute FeedbackThe Blacksmith restaurant offers a mixed dining experience, with some diners finding the food too salty or overpriced, while others rave about the fantastic dishes and excellent service. The ambience and character of the restaurant make it perfect for special occasions, and the wedge salad and duck cassoulet receive high praise. Some diners had issues with specific dishes being rubbery or undercooked. Overall, those who had a positive experience enjoyed the atmosphere, fantastic food, and great service, making it a recommended choice for a delicious meal in Central Oregon.
The surfing and shaking dish was fantastic, and the pistachio-crusted hooliage was delightful. Kate, our server, was attentive and friendly! It's always a great place for dinner!
The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were just right. I could easily hear the people I was dining with. The servers were attentive and wonderful.
The atmosphere is lovely—it's not too bright and has a gentle vibe, with enough space between tables so it doesn't feel crowded. The food is excellent, as always. They introduced a cheese plate since our last visit, and it featured four delectable speck-wrapped bites that I believe had goat cheese inside. Oh my goodness, they were absolutely divine! Honestly, they must be a bit of a hassle to prepare, but I would definitely pay extra for a plate of just those! I could easily indulge in them until I couldn't move if someone didn’t stop me! Additionally, our waitress, Kira (if I got her name right), was absolutely delightful!
Delicious food and outstanding service! To celebrate our 13th anniversary, they surprised us with a long-stemmed rose!
We had a delightful dinner! There were roses on our table to celebrate our anniversary, which was a lovely touch.
