La Cena - BENSALEM

After seeing that the restaurant had four stars on Yelp and TripAdvisor, we were excited to give it a try. However, we were disappointed with our experience. The calamari appetizer was cold and rubbery, making it difficult to finish. The pasta dishes were mediocre, with undercooked scallops and bland sauce. Additionally, we were surprised to see a 3% or 4% charge for using a credit card, which was not disclosed until we received the bill. When we brought this up to the waitress, she pointed out a small sign at the front door. The live music was nice but too loud, making it hard to carry on a conversation. Overall, we will not be returning to this restaurant.

Tuesday night was the best night. The four of us were seated in a corner table and we were able to a have quiet conversation. Food was delicious. We will be back.

Enjoyed a meal before seeing a concert at Parx. The staff service was great. We enjoyed mussels, salads, and pasta bolognese sea bass entrees. Restaurant had live music (Sat night). We enjoyed ourselves, would go back again.

The entertainment was way too loud we could not have a conversation at our table. We will not be returning on a weekend night. Our server and the food was fantastic but we were really turned off by how loud the music was.

Service was very slow. Inattentive server. Needed to ask other servers for our server to come to our table.
