The sunchairs are a greatly requested feature, they are nice indeed. Service was an exception in this otherwise welcoming city. First at the bar, a young guy who told me no glasses were available after I had paid for our beers , then a woman...who thought I would go into the kitchen- really don’t know how I should and why, I was asking her about glasses. The ampelmännnnchen restaurant is located in the immediate vicinity of the next stop at the hackesche market. super friendly service, delicious food with view of the spree.
I had dinner here at lunch yesterday. such a beautiful scene. my mother and I both decided to make pfifferling dishes that were absolutely delicious. great wein. very good service. chairs in front of the door to see berlin and listen to live music!
More interesting place where restaurant customers are looking for the sunbeams and typical traffic lights armchairs are conveniently and colourful. We have eaten here at lunch before we move on the razes to sit in the chairs. it is very nice if the weather is good. they have to get themselves from the bar when they sit on the meadow. we had pizza and pasta and eating was very good, the service was also good. recommended if they live near Alexanderplatz/Mitte.
