BioRestaurant Mandelbaum - Berlin

Yes - we stand on organic and if possible look for such restaurants that support local small farmers and bio-gardeners and/or are certified by slowfood e.V. during our short visit to berlin we have therefore also searched for a bio restaurant, but had to quickly find out that the capital here is still developing - in Berlin-Weißensee we have become aware of the bio-restaurant mandelbaum as an alternative to the "bio company" - as the description sounds better than in other restaurants we have made the way from köpenick to Weissensee. the restaurant is located in a residential block area somewhat hidden - the outdoor places well occupied and so we were glad to get here delicious organic food - the reception was friendly and the menu appealing. Unfortunately, we were surrounded by chain smokers who were not at all for eating, but only drank. but good, the Mediterranean dish was a bit inconvenient but at least tasted. positiw to mention is on all cases the houseown limonade - which is really good. selected main dishes were bark fillet medium with pfifferlingen and calfscarf with kartoffel corners also with pfifferlingen and supplemental salad - the result: the bark fillet was through and zäh - reklamation - so the cook was once again ate after

The food was very good, the waiter was very nice and the bill for two people was really acceptable (approx. 50 e.) try it out yourself and enjoy it!

We have enjoyed a saline salad with fresh bread and a glass white wine.Quality excellent, a fine evening with nice service. please continue this way, we'll be back next year.

Also for breakfast a suitable local with free-seat. Even for individual wishes they are prepared. also for our little ones there was a high chair and on request a small lunchtime. to recommend. reservation recommended.

We enjoyed the dinner in this organic restaurant. It was only a pity that both the homemade limonade was almost out (which we were told only when ordering) and that there were no more asparagus spiders (which were advertised large in the card), which we were told to order. very bad, this has forced us to re-elect. the Dessert selection was all the more extensive.
