Einstein Kaffee Gendarmenmarkt - Berlin

Lovely place inside mall of berlin. Great stop for a coffee or dessert. I highly recommend their Apfel Strudel !

Coffee was just outstanding. The wife loved the cappuccino. The cakes were average. The service was good and the place clean.

Stumbled on this little coffeeshop when shopping in Berlin. Nice seating area, good espresso and friendly staff. It is on the level below the foodcourt which is a bonus in my opinion! cakes looked good although we didnt try them this time!

The previous reviews are a bit harsh. The cafe is fine. The coffee was lovely. Creamy and just the right strength. The quick lunch we had was fine. Staff were fine, outside seating was good. Delivered to a perfectly adequate level to my view.

While shopping in the Mall of Berlin I wanted to make a break to relax, take a drink and enjoy a cake. My choice was this café located in the 1st floor. After making my choice of a slice of chocolate pye and café, I was informed that no credit card was accpeted. I could not expect this lack of service in a restaurant place, located in a shopping mall in the touristic centre of an important capital city in Europe. As a tourist I was strongly desappointed since I did not carry cash so I had to let my choice away and move to another place.
