View all feedback.
What Thalita Aranda doesn't like about Goodtime:
Apparently, zehlendorfer, who feel superior to the rest of berlins, love this place and think it is one of the best Thai restaurants in the city. similar to zehlendorfer's opinions about himself, I found this completely unfounded. at first they lost. View all feedback.
Freundlich, unaufdringlich und sehr nett ,wir gehen schon Jahre dahin wird immer besser, alles frisch, super Service, wir können das Restaurant nur empfehlen
I liked the quality and attention to detail. I could taste the ingredients. I had an asian dish which was really spicy (as indicated on the menu) so don’t assume two peppers will still be mild.
Apparently, Zehlendorfers, who think of themselves as superior to the rest of Berlin, love this place, and consider it one of the best Thai restaurants in town. Much like Zehlendorfers opinions of themselves, I found this to be utterly unfounded. To begin with, they lost...our reservation, so we got stuck with a really bad table. Apparently so bad a table that the waiting staff didn't really like going there either. At least it took forever to get menus, orders taken, drinks and food delivered, new drink orders placed, etc. Many items had to be ordered several times, because not only table reservations get lost here, but orders, too. Then you need to double-check the bill, because orders that were placed twice will appear twice, even if they were only delivered once. As for the quality of the food, it is but one step up from a pedestrian zone hole-in-the-wall take-out. The sauces, in particular, were clumsy and gluggy. Nothing light and elegant as you might hope for when you think you're in for a dinner of upscale Thai cuisine. Yes, we were fooled by Zehlendorf. Sidenote: the restaurant is poorly ventilated on the inside and gets uncomfortably muggy even on only warm-but-not-hot summer days, and for some reason cooling white and rose wine properly is not part of their routine.
I was worried when I saw so many tourists eating here, but there were local Germans eating here too. The cocktails were good. Try the Mai Tai. The service ranged from very good to a little bored, but the food was very good. It was...properly spicy, rather than blanded out for Hermsn tastes, which sometimes ruin Thai and Indian restaurants in Germany, for me. The food tasted very fresh, with clean, clear tastes, maybe just a little sweet. Good value for money and recommended.
I was invited by a very good travel agent; traumreiseagentur.de to an event at this Thai restaurant, and was very impressed. Not only everything was very well organised, but so friendly , informal and charming. The whole staff was introduced to us, the food was...really well, beautifully presented and absolute delicious.the cocktails were very good, the service very attentive and super friendly. that was quite an experience! if you need a place for a business event, i'd highly recommend this restaurant, and if you're looking for genuine delicious Thai food, that's the place to go! i'm definitely going back!!!
