I had some lamb in curry topped with some almonds and cashews. It was well balanced and delicious, while my friend had the chicken tandoori, served on a cast iron, the chicken was well marinaded and served with a nice amount of veggies. The staff is also great and speak English if needed. And the restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for those beautiful cool nights.
The food was delicious. There are several vegan and vegetarian options, not just the classic ones. They also offer pappadums with three different sauces (one of which is vegan). The staff was really nice, one guy noticed that our table was wobbling and fixed it without us asking.
Fter eating yesterday and watching the france germany match, three people ordered a chiken briani, and from there it was the beginning of a nightmare. the next morning I threw up times with lots of diarrhea, at which I call my two friends and...they too were the same way. whereupon I go to the doctor and find out that I had food poisoning ....
Taste glass soup boring. too small portion for the money. taste palak paneer very good. salat can be given. is nice after delivery of warm salad-mask.
Having been literally fooled by the incredible amount of reviews, we were lured into booking this place and my oh my, was that a mistake! Yes, alarm bells shall be ringing if you go to a restaurant located directly on Schönehauser Allee, I will...take that one on my cape but from that to actually experiencing what this place really is, well that is really something respect to the reviews it has gotten! Makes you wonder what kind of food quality these people are used to in general. First things first, we booked a table outside, they gave us a table inside. Covid: most restaurants and bars in Berlin have implemented some kind of safety measurements. This place none! No masks, no gloves, no social distancing, no nothing. Very interesting how the city is allowing that kind of behavior in these times. Service: so this place is a fast-moving place with lots of young waiters running around and speaking really fast. Call it a disco-restaurant, you people goes there, the music is fast and loud too. Oh and expect waiters to randomly place their fingers in the full dishes they bring along, if you are lucky they also wear rings that goes with the finger inside the food. Food: couldn’t say, we were part of a group and I just ordered samosas as a starter but they were really hot on the outside and frozen on the inside. So basically they serve you frozen food and pay absolute no attention to the quality of what they serve. Frankly they don’t even care, we made them aware of that but they could not have cared less and made us pay for it just the same. Interesting concept! I stopped at the samosas so count me out for trying their food! Prices: way too high for being Indian fast-food service. Do not expect gastronomy here, at best and on a really good day, you will find average Indian food served. Recommendation: Good luck!
