Für eine Geburtstag-Einladung haben die neuen Wirte im neuen Montevideo alles getan, um den Abend großartig ins Gedächtnis der Gefeierten und ihrer Gäste zu gravieren. Ansprechpartner in der Vorbesprechung, flexibel im letzten Augenblick bei drohendem Wetterwechsel, präzise im Service mit "eigenem" Chef-Ober für 24 Personen, charmanter Ansprache und dem Willen, den Absender gelingen zu lassen. What Ulf Klaus doesn't like about New Montevideo:
- have never got such a solid foam on latte, I was positiw, very surprised! - breakfast was the best thing I have eaten so far, price performance is not too good! - I wish only the tee hâtte in tea glass and not in the cup because ingwer zitrone mint have already filled the cup as rich only 10ml what to overflow, but. at the latest after the order, this request was fulfilled to me. -fazit: from me they will definitely get the full stars! -because to the whole staff, very happy to come back! ps: love new montevideo team please complain in the garden office, they want the trees so longer with them the sun seem to be on the terrace because many guests like to sit in the sun, e.g. like me, in the 2nd floor stay 3x.
4 years ago I was the first time in the montevideo and was not thrilled. but for two years it has changed very much and has now become one of my favorite restaurants. I like the personal note and the kesse berliner art of personal. a restaurant with its own character and great tasty portions.
Have eaten a menu on the midday sympathetic service; tasty eating and a nice atmosphere on the terrace. I haven't felt so comfortable and relaxed for a long time!
A beautiful place, despite corona-conditioned loose seating. the service friendly and accommodating. the breakfast is delicious and fresh, especially the delicious and freshly pressed orange juice. strammer max with dark brot and fresh salat supplement delicious!

New Montevideo has been completely refurbished and the result is very good indeed. Indoors is very smart, with wall lighting and a relatively neutral colour scheme. It is welcoming and has the air of casual sophistication. Outdoor eating is available during the summer months. The restaurant overlooks the beautiful Viktoria Louise Platz.The menu is typical Italian, with the emphasis on simplicity but using very fresh ingredients. House pastas are excellent but occasionally could do with a little more flavour - the linguini com calamari is somewhat bland and a little short on calamari. The buffalo mozzarella salad with fresh basil and tomato is very tasty. Condiments are supplied on each table.Deserts are unexceptional.The wine list is primarily Italian in origin, with the Rose by the glass a particularly interesting wine.Service is generally very good with that Italian joie de vivre, which is particularly appealing.
