Great place, genuine Tuscan experience, high end quality of ingredients, presentation and variety of wines. Master chef comes around for personal recommendations! I'll definitely come back many more times and recommend to friends. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ponte:
I discovered ponte in the opposite of Schöneberg in berlin and read the menu prices outside, which also lists a beverage menu. I have reviewed their website for more details, the menu is the same, but has a link to a downloadable drinks and...Advanced weinlist. Please note that the actual prices based on the menu outside the restaurant are about higher than the online menu prices. no big thing they would probably say... View all feedback.
We visited Ponte for lunch on 23 July. The "old world" charm and restrained environment of wood and white table linen is captivating. An enthusiastic "bonjourno" on entry sets the tone for the whole meal. What a joy to have the order explained by the chef-patron. This is true customer focus as staff members do not take orders. After a few visits, the daily specials are explained in English as my German language skills have a way to go to be fully comprehensible! An entre of gnocchi is outstanding - simple but melt in the mouth. Mains of guinea fowl and turbot were cooked to perfection, both meals accompanied by appropriate vegetables. Again, texture and taste were great. We decided to share a cheese platter to round off the Sunday lunch. Perfect! This is fine, no fuss, fresh and simple Italian food in the best tradition of great Italian chefs. It reminded me of my childhood, growing up in a large Italian community in Australia where we all shared the wonders of eating with the whole family, especially on Sundays. And the wines.....a good selection!

We had a reservation for a celebration, a group of 9 people. Lunch was great, very creative and appropriate portions for a 4-course menu. The service was excellent, attentive but not disturbing the group's interaction. It's not a cheap restaurant but the food is worth every Euro - the proprietor used to run the Ponte Vecchio, one of the restaurants with Michelin stars years ago, and he has not forgotten how to prepare a great meal. The place seems to be frequented by locals and regulars (which I believe is a good sign), though it's not far from the main attractions in western part of the city. I would recommend reservations, but I don't know or sure.
A very nice neighbourhood restaurant that gains to be visited. Actually in a quiet setting but very close to Kurfürstendamm and many Berlin highlights so definitely worth a detour. Food is excellent, service flawless and friendly and the open wines I had were well priced and excellent.
Genuine Italian dining and atmosphere in Berlin. A bit buzy / too few waiters to call it real fine dining but great food experience. Choose you seat carefully, esp. if you sit at the patio. We were placed in the backend corner with some rubbish behind us.
