I have been here three times now in the past few months and I have never been disappointed. Quite the reverse in fact. The food here is incredible. I've been to a few pizzerias in Berlin and so far this is head and shoulders above all of the others. The pizzas are huge and delicious. What User doesn't like about Rocco und seine Bruder:
I had always wanted to go to this nice-looking pizzeria in Lausitzerplatz. When I finally did, I am sad to say I was pretty disappointed with the pizza. It was nice and crispy at the edges, but moist and wet in the middle. I was expecting much more. It is always full with people living in the neighborhood, so it may be the cook only had a bad moment. Perhaps I should give it another chance... View all feedback.

The staff are friendly and attentive and the owner Andreas takes an interest in his customers and often stops to chat. Without doubt this is the best place for a pizza in the whole of Berlin. I can not recommend this place enough.
Taken here by some locals for a large group meal in the evening. It was warm and we sat outside. The area is fashionably scruffy. Service and food were excellent, and not speaking German didn't faze us. Lovely choice of Pizzas, salads and beers. Great fun.

Came across this wonderfully busy little pizzeria on our travels trough the area, rather unexpected, but excellent range of pizza's, lovely relaxed atmosphere and service from very busy, but cheery staff. Set in a quiet and off central square, away from the main drag. As usual from German service, you never feel under pressure to leave or rush your meal, all very leisurely. Staff very happy to box up the leftover pizza, as they were very big, but delicious! this is a great place to take your hungry teenagers and young adults.
It was our first day in Berlin and we found Hackescher Markt and its bustle and many restaurants. One of the restaurants was Rocco. The menu looked tempting and the atmosphere was great on such a beautiful day. We ordered our drinks and they came out promptly. It went terribly down hill from there. After a good 30 minutes we realised that no one was going to take our order. After another 15 minutes we finally flagged a waiter down ordered our meal and another drink. We sat and waited for another hour until we simply gave up and left the restaurant without paying for our drinks. We ended up buying rostwurst from a vendor. We have a long standing joke now - if the line is slow or the service is tardy, we laugh and say it's not as bad as Rocco!
