Went there spontaneously after a long walk through the Tegel forest. Service was fast, friendly and efficient, and the food was very good.

“Tegeler Seeterrassen” has a privileged location overlooking the lake and close to the shipping pier, where the lake cruises start. Restaurants of such a kind are usually expensive, in particular if they provide as a high a standard as “Tegeler Seeterrassen”, with tastefully decorated tables, a beautifully designed menu and alike. However, the same menu revealed that prices were a real bargain here. The menu was not excessively comprehensive, but offered among some classics also a few quite creative dishes and should please everybody, vegetarians included. Portions were large, the food was nicely arranged on the plates and, though we were a group of seven, no complaint whatsoever was raised. The professional, yet unobtrusive service also contributed to the marvelous late-summer evening we spent on the terrace of this restaurant.
