Not vegan / vegetarian friendly! they offer tofu with most directed, but this goes up to their understanding of vegan / vegetarian. the person who wrote the positive review below was probably blocked. the vegan ‘menu’ is a confusing list that I had to request three times. it says the vegan items are marked with a cross, except nothing is marked with a cross, only some things are circled, and there is a “tofu” gap, which indicates that it can be done with tofu. it was confusing, so I spoke to the manager, and he explained that the girded objects (still with the word for “marked with a cross” in German; very strange.) I decided to play it safely and go for objects that looked like they were full of vegan to begin with i.e circles. Okay, I thought I chose two inspiring dishes. about 45 minutes after my arrival, a woman came to take our order, then she explained that the items I had selected by this long-term, confusing process were not really vegan due to the fish sauce. but they were labeled as vegan! so no one overlooks this: items marked as vegan are not VEGAN/VEGETARIAN! I did not trust them, especially combined with the terrible service (the long waiting period and ignored by the employees), and so all five of us have gone (including the four omninis.) note: the waitress was much more concerned with their valuable ego and the blame to others, including their manager, than our comfort or our apologies, only mad at me because I was angry. such people should not work in the service. such a place that calls dinge vegan if it does not really deserve to be listed on happy cow unless it is to warn others. tipp: we went a few doors to Kreuzburger, a omni burger place with 5 delicious vegan burger and I think 7 vegetarian, all cooked in an open (clean) kitchen with friendly service. they prefer to go there if they are with obligated carnivores! I will make sure to add it.
