Le Relais de la Chevrette - Bernex

We arrived late on a Sunday afternoon after walking in the vain hope of the restaurant being open....most we had found in the past closed at and a firm NON no food normally followed. Not here, the restaurant was clearly very busy and service...was winding down but instead of the usual non, we were welcomed, shown a table, told that it the cold menu was available and to order when we had chosen. Excellent cold meats and pate arrived with cheese and pickles, lots of bread...a perfect lunch. A genuine big THANK YOU for taking the time and I really look forward to visiting when the whole menu is available.

Serving a range of local dishes including Raclette and Fondu options, the quality of the food served was superb. The level of customer service matched the quality of the food. The French/American gentleman serving was attentive with a added splash of humour. Would definitely visit...again!

The Specialites Regionales are the obvious attraction and you'll quickly see why: cheese-lovers get to do some cooking at the table! Great wine list. Excellent starters and divine desserts. Appealing to the gourmand but child-friendly. Charming garden with outdoor eating a must on a...fine day. The restaurant has charm and atmosphere in equal measure. Not a place for a budget experience' but worth every cent. Definitely going back the next time in the area HIGHLY RECOMMENDED,

En vacance sur evian en famille, nous avons eu la bonne idée de monter dans les terre pour une petite balade matinal en montagne, et finir sur un déjeuner savoyard dans ce magnifique jardin de relais de la chevrette... cadre idyllique et vous ne serez pas déçu de la cuisine... très copieux et de qualité.

Pour les amateurs de spécialité savoyarde, reste une bonne adresse, l'accueil est sympathique, les plats sont copieux et excellent. Compter 30 euros par personne .
