Complaints included slow service, small portions during Restaurant Week, crowded and noisy conditions, lack of outdoor seating despite reservations, and absence of gluten-free bread options. On the upside, the food quality was praised with highlights like flavorful mussels and profiteroles. The Parisian ambience at Mon Ami Gabi was delightful, but service was inconsistent. Overall, the restaurant received recommendations for its good food, service, and ambiance, but improvements like attentiveness to special occasions and adequate ventilation were suggested for a better dining experience.
Our waitress grecia was great. Eat, not so much. ordered the prix fixed steak fries lunchtime to be the meat medium rare. it came well done. although grecia offered to bring a new plate, I rejected in the interest of time.
Beautiful plate du jour. I ate so much! the eyes were bigger than my liking!
We have always loved mon ami gabi, so it is very disappointing to have some less than stellar feedback. first the good parts. the food was great (as always) and the service was attentive and friendly. unfortunately (and unusual) there was a single problem of cleanliness. I provide information for the restaurant directly. all in all I will go back and give them a few more chances based on 20 years of good experiences and recollections.
I got sick from the food. We waited 1/2 hour for our reservation to be sat as well
Food and service was very good. The people at the table next to us were very loud which made the dinner less pleasant. Would definitely recommend the restaurant it was just unfortunate that we were seated next to rude people.
