Saturday evening meal here very nice ,not rushed at all, friendly staff only complaint would be that a little more room at the table was a bit of a squeeze with four people. Would recommend this restaurant View all feedback.
What Gerrybugle doesn't like about Pride Of India:
Very disappointed with my selection from the take away menu. In fact the worst India I have experienced in memory. It felt like I was eating yesterday unsold food. I phoned to explain my disappointment and received no real apology or resolution. View all feedback.
Been here a couple of times recently as trying to support local businesses. Both times the food has been delicious, the service was great and the prices weren’t too bad. I’m glad there’s a place like this on my doorstep
Great local business, top banter with the owner and waiter who were both very accommodating. Not a great spot for vegetarians. However, they do a £14 Vegetable meal which consists of a few separate dishes (potato , chickpea curry, Onion Bhaji), with a gorgeous Paratha. Excellent value. My four other housemates were all very satisfied which is a great sign. Will certainly be visiting again!

I cannot find any faults with this restaurant. I have been a patron here for years and the food always impresses me. The staff is polite and welcoming. 10/10.
I went to this restaurant for dinner with friends on a whim and we were glad we did. We all ordered different curries and enjoyed them. I had the lamb jalfrezi and it was very flavorful. The side dishes were also delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. I would definitely go back. (They are also currently participating in the 'Eat Out to Help Out' scheme).
