meat pies in the country are just so different to anything we get in the city. real chunks of grass fed beef, flaky fresh pastry. they have won heaps of awards here. they serve breakfast too. great danishes. basically anything they make at the shop is going to probably taste great! Best coffee in town, great friendly and genuine service and just a must must must do in Bicheno. And my dog loved the party pies.
If you're in Bicheno and need coffee and breakfast then this is an excellent choice. We could have eaten everything on the menu but ended up with croissants and other pastries. It's my idea of heaven.

After walking the beaches in the glorious winter sun it was time to recharge at the Blue Edge Bakery. We had the Soup de jour with a delicious bread roll with one eye on the fabulous cakes and coffee that were to come. Getting ready to head out again we decided on 3 types of cakes to share and coffee - all were delicious. A lovely family bakery and highly recommended.
Coffee great at this little gem..but we have to say the food is great...please please try the Tasmanian Scallop pies...oh dear they are heaven on earth.. Wonderful staff who know their game as well..5 star guys..keep up the good work.
