Waited Minutes to be served ,whilst queuing I watched the actions of the four members of staff inside the shop ,they ask the person being served for their order write it down then take the money and just stand there until the order has...been prept Then begin to wrap it up put in a carrier bag ,and then and only then go on to serve the next customer ,having worked in the retail market for many years ,it is comman practice to reduce a queue as fast as possible ,in a normal chip shop you are asked for your order ,and whilst it's being prepared the next in line has been asked for there order and this is being prepared ,and so the process continues, not stand talking to each other until the order has been made ready ,who ever owns this business you need to reboot your staff or replace them or go down hill . Gravy very good chips under cooked and very bitty .

Ordered for delivery via FoodHub, estimated delivery time said minutes. After an hour and a half I drove there to find out it was closed! Had to get a refund through FoodHub. First and last time I'll ever consider buying from Squires Gate fish.. chips.

We called here whilst walking home they had special f/chips We really did enjoy them we ate outside, but you can sit in. We will be going again. It has been taken over recently. Would advise you give it a try.

I had lunch here today eating in the dinning room. The Haddock and chips special was just the job! I also added Mushy peas, Buttered barm and a cup of tea. My bill came to !!! All served in disposable dinner ware how it...should be right now. The chippy was very clean and I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. I am a registered blind diner and I felt like I was treated with dignity and respect. Thank you.

Worst chippy ever. People were crowded inside, no masks, no social distancing nothing. I ordered and waited outside for half an hour for my food. Two people got fed up waiting, asked for their money back and almost got it thrown over counter at them.The...older woman serving needs some serious customer relations training. She is so rude! The food was cold when I did finally get it as she had forgotten the pie I ordered so went to microwave it leaving everything else going cold while we waited for it. Expensive and not worth the experience at all. Avoid if you can.
