Fabulous restaurant, friendly owners.Spoke to Caroline at length who knows alot about the local food industry along with all local interesting facts. One of us was Gluten free and was very well looked after. The Salt and Pepper whiting was extremely good. Would go as far as to say there would not be a better restaurant in the area. Will return when next back in the Great Lakes district. Can BYO wine View all feedback.
What Lourdes Ebert doesn't like about Kingfisher Café:
Not a great experience. Food was fine - if highly priced.. but the clincher came in the corkage charges. Wow! So expensive. Way out of line with any other restaurant in the area. A one off experience for us! View all feedback.
The prices are ridiculous!! Food was ok and servers were nice, but need some experience.
Some of the best Ramen I have ever eaten Some times the service can be a bit off but is always worth the wait or small confusions.

The place is not fancy but the food is hands down amazing. Even the kids meal was fresh and healthy (none of that awful kids menu stuff you get elsewhere). When we were there the place was full of mosquitoes due to open doors, however they did give us deet which kept them away.
I recently hosted my 40th Birthday at Kingfisher Cafe and it was simple perfect. The food was sensational, guests are still raving about it. Caz and Dave where just amazing, they went above and beyond to ensure I had the best Birthday EVER and I did!Do yourself a favor and visit the best restaurant at Blueys Beach, you won't be disappointed.
