Very authentic and delicious food. My buddies and I enjoyed some steak and Cuban sandwiches served with papas fritas (French fries). Definitely recommend his small hidden spot. I will definitely be back for more! View all feedback.
What Franciszek Kwiatkowska doesn't like about Caribbean Grill Boca Raton:
If I could rate 0 stars I would service has always been an issue in this restaurant today I went with my friends and my emotional support was rudely asked to leave because of the dog which was a small emotional support dog I asked to be served outside and I was refused service. In this place service is horrible but food is very good View all feedback.
However, after Juan sold the restaurant, things began to change. While there was a slight update to the interior, the authentic Cuban flavors seemed to fade away. The menu shifted towards more mainstream dishes, the waitstaff changed frequently, and the overall care for the place seemed to diminish. Despite these changes, I continued to visit for the delicious coffee and familiar faces. Unfortunately, over time, the quality of service declined even more. The friendly waitstaff I once knew were replaced by less personable employees who seemed to have forgotten the importance of a warm smile in the service industry. An extra 4% service fee was added for card payments, and the prices continued to increase while the ambiance grew stale. When the pandemic hit, the restaurant managed to survive but did not make any improvements upon reopening. They even stopped serving breakfast, disappointing many loyal customers. The once charming Cuban establishment began to lose its appeal, and even my attempts to remain loyal were tested by the lackluster experience and high prices. In the end, a $20 breakfast in a tired-looking dining room with poor service and an unsupportive atmosphere was the final straw for me. I'm not sure if sharing this feedback will make a difference, but I hope the owners will listen to their customers and bring back the authentic Cuban charm that made this place special in the first place.
The food here is amazing and tastes just like home. We wouldn't be able to live without this place. We come here all the time.
I recently visited this restaurant and enjoyed it so much that I came back. They have excellent Cuban coffee called cortadito, but my favorite dish is the grilled pork chops. The portions are generous with two thick pork chops and two side dishes. I couldn't finish all of my meal because it was so filling. The prices have increased since my last visit, but it's worth it for the delicious food. I will definitely be returning for dinner next time. The restaurant is cozy and the staff is friendly, although there is no printed menu.
It was my first time here, the menu is written on various chalkboards on the walls, it was a bit confusing, but our server was very helpful to explain the dishes. I ordered the Cuban chicken flour with yellow rice and on the part, the chicken came so tasteful and fall from the bone tender, and the rice was nice and damp. I'll be back soon!
Coming from a Brasilian family this restaurant HANDS DOWN best cuban food in the area. Our server Gabbi was such a sweetheart and the food came out in a timely manner. This restaurant is a MUST.
