While some diners found the overall experience decent, others were unimpressed with long waits and mediocre service. However, many customers praised the fantastic staff and incredible food, with some calling it the best restaurant they've ever been to. Enjoy a lively ambiance and delicious dishes, with highlights including baked shrimp, bone-in ribeye, and lamb kabob with saffron rice. Despite some mixed reviews, this restaurant seems to be a favorite for many who appreciate great service and top-notch cuisine.
I was really excited to take my husband and parents to try a new steak house. Looking at the reviews I was confident we'd have a great meal. Unfortunately, out of five different food choices EVERYONE of us had flavorless tasted food, a waitress who keptmumbling under her breath and watered down drinks. For the price I am shocked they aren't embarrassed with their service andbland tasting food. I doubt my review will mean much as this place is still fully packed, but for the true foodies out there whoknow good food BEWARE! It's not at all worth the price, or the poor service they gave the ONLY Black family in the whole entirerestaurant ????.
This steak is incredible! I’ve been having trouble finding a south Florida spot that rivals my favorite steakhouses in other cities but New York Prime held its own! The steak was exceptional! Perfectly tender and expertly prepared. Enjoyed thecarpaccio appetizer and the bread they bring when you’re first seated is a great touch. Drinks were strong and well balanced.Service was great! Tried a filet for my first visit. Asked for the steak rare which they delivered on. It’s a hearty portionand it’s prepared perfectly. Red throughout! Looking forward to trying more steaks in the future! For dessert we tried thebutter cake and cheesecake. The butter cake was rich with fresh berries and ice cream. Cheesecake was also good.
Took my wife there for her birthday. The ambiance was lively and great for people watching. The baked shrimp was delicious and one of my favorites that always has me coming back for more. The bone-in ribeye was cooked perfectly. The sides paired well andultimately it was a success. NY Prime is a Boca staple and once again it didn’t disappoint. One of my top 3 steakhouses.
I literally never write reviews but felt this place deserved it. Easily one of my favorite spots to eat in Boca. Not only is the atmosphere and food amazing but the service is always wonderful. Jim “ Jimbo” always remembers my friend and I when wecome in and always makes sure we are taken care of. The manager Doug is super sweet and accommodating. Checking up on us toensure we are happy and gave us the best food recommendations. I love New York prime and I don’t even eat steak. Greatlocation too.
Our group went on a busy night but taking almost 45mins to get sat when we had a reservation is almost OK…except for the fact the hostess kept telling us we are next and they sat other people first. Service on the front end was poor considering theycould have just kept us in the loop instead of misleading. Service at the table was also just above acceptable considering wehad to beg to get water probably 3-4 times. Nothing special here. Food was good overall. Pricey but expected. I would say ifthey could work on their service, this restaurant could be better than what it was.
