Ono's Cafe - Bonita

Ono's permanently close for business. SAD!!!!! We have been coming here for years. Will greatly miss there great food.

Ono's Cafe is located in a quite area. It was very easy to get to and to find parking. Loved that I was able to do a reservation via Yelp. When we arrived it was busy but since we had made a reservation via the yelp app we were seated about 15minutes upon our parties arrival. The menu both for cocktails and food were very amazing and my sister loved having a children's menu. The portion sizes were great! All the plates and sushi we ordered were delicious, great flavors! Only feedback is that they were very short on staff and it was very busy so it took a while for the waitress to take our order and to serve our food.

I came here with some friends and ordered the teriyaki chicken pasta and malasadas. The teriyaki pasta tasted a bit bland to me. The malasadas were also a let down. I was looking forward to try these but they just tasted like a heavy fried ball of dough with sugar that had a bitter aftertaste. After my first visit, I don't think I'll be returning.

Pretty disappointing to arrive at 8:10 on a Sundalyl, after seeing the website AND sign on the window, stating you close at 9:00....and you're closed! I won't be back...

Just horrible! If I could give no stars, I would. We went in were seated immediately. We were there for about 30 minutes before we got any food. She brought out my sushi our gyozas. Then remembered our meal came with miso soup. When she brought it, the soup was cold. She then took it back brought more with the same problem. At this point it had already been an hour that we had to wait. My husband spoke with someone who said he was the manager. He got very defensive that we would leave without continuing to wait. When she brought out the food, it was cold. You could tell it was sitting out for awhile before it was brought out. They had a family party at the same time were more focused on getting g their family taken care of then the customers. We saw trays of piping hot food going out to the party but not to the rest of the customers. We do not live in the area but when we come to town, this used to be our go to. We'll more than likely never go here again.
