Indian Mehfil - Booval

This is a beautiful restaurant in the middle of ipswich. the Daal-Tadka was perfectly balanced with seasoned and fresh tomatoes. many vegan dishes also all marked.

Lovely Indian food. Wonderful flavours, well presented, fantastic quality meal. The dining room has an opulent at atmosphere but casual dining is fine. Service is friendly and helpful. There is an extensive choice of beer, wines and spirits to choose from. The Lamb Rogan Josh was superb.

Indian Mehfil was one of the best India we have found we we have been to uses the whole palette of flavors—spicy, sour, sweet, and hot all at the same time piquant making it something that wants to jump off the plate. Fresh tasty no hard edges cooked to perfection .... Plain nan best ever not dripping in gee or butter perfect Lovely staff reasonably priced . Nice central location

It has been four years since we have been here due to disasters and Covid. It continues its excellent standards in food quality, presentation, staff, and excellence all round The food came exactly as ordered particularly the level of spicieness. Well done

Excellent food and service. However the lighting lets it down, my husband and I found it way too dark. We struggled to read the menu. I ordered a chicken on the bone dish the sauce was amazing however there were small bones which I could not see. I was frightened that I would choke on one. So had to leave the meal. Please Mehfil switch on the lights or at least put better lighting on the tables, or light half the restaurant.
