Everything is superb here but the food stands out from everything else in the North End. And Boston. It is creative so you can enjoy some outstanding red sauce and the most gourmet and creative Italian. View all feedback.
What Maryse Tillman doesn't like about Prezza:
Came here based on the rave reviews online for a special occasion, and my date and I were disappointed by the experience. The food was good, but not great, and definitely not worth the price. The lobster pasta was the best pasta I've ever eaten with her wonderful garlic bread. We finished white chocolate bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. It was amazing!
Cosy and intimate Italian restaurant with great seafood and steak dishes. I recently visited my friend's birthday. We forgot to make a reservation in advance, but were happy to find out that they had many of the same daily availability. Compared to other bustling places in North End, the place had a more relaxed atmosphere, and we could sneak a private stand that is a rarity in the area. We started with the antipasto board and spicy mussels, the excellent pairings with the wine we were ordered. Chorizo in the shells added to the tomato stew a beautiful fleshy taste, and we were all addicted to its rich aromas. From the Entrées were our favorites of the fish stew and the Kalbsporterhouse. The rich aromas of the Marsala sauce were great supplements to delicate meat, and the stew also had a beautiful burst of Umami flavor that felt almost too good to be extracted from natural ingredients. Nevertheless, it was not too overwhelming, and we wiped the court clean. Warm chocolate bread pudding was also a great finale for our meal, and our last birthday dinner plan was successful.
We had a great dinner here. It's up, but it's covered. Service was friendly. At the beginning, the cocktails are great and wine selection is good. We enjoyed the gnocchi Bolognese with its rich and fleshy sauce and the lobster fra diavalo. Finally, the vein of Milanese was crispy and tender.
Incredibly good food and service. Cosy, old Italian ambience. A jewel in the north. I'd definitely return.
Our party of four loved our food. We were very impressed with the Buffalo mozzarella and beef tartar appetizers. Our waiter (gentleman with a dapper grey beard, who also liked motorcycles we are sorry we didn't get your name! made wonderful suggestions for wine pairings for some of the dishes we ordered. He was very knowledgeable about the menu, and we really enjoyed chatting with him. Our party also enjoyed the veal porterhouse and tuna steak. Everything was super flavourful and the portions were generous. You won't be disappointed coming here!
