Finding good quality, fresh, and affordable food near the RBWH can be a challenge, but Little Bird is a great option. Though not very close, about a ten-minute walk from the hospital, I believe it's worth the effort. The coffee, from Merlo, is excellent, and my wrap was freshly prepared and reasonably priced. There are only a few small tables available on the sidewalk outside, or you can opt for takeaway. View all feedback.
I paid a lot of money for an average coffee, I pay a dollar less at my local joint for a coffee that is so much better.
I had driven past this cafe many times and never been able to stop (it's located on a busy corner and I could never seem to jag a park). It wasn't until I moved in to the building next door I became a frequent customer. The coffee is always BANG on the money. Consistency is everything for caffeine lovers. The variety of food is also excellent for a cafe of this size. I would highly recommend popping in.
I've grabbed coffee here more than a few times now and it's super delicious and well priced. A great assortment of gourmet sandwiches and wraps for breakfast or lunch, along with organic and gluten free sweets! I highly recommend this place if you're passing through Bowen Hills, staying in accommodation close by or work in the area.

It is not super close - probably a ten minute walk from the hospital - but I would argue worth the walk. Coffee is Merlo and excellent; my wrap was freshly made and a reasonable price. Only a few little tables on sidewalk out the front or you can takeaway.
Locating this restaurant proved to be quite difficult.
