Copper is the one steak house we visited in Bozeman, and the food was so good. We each got one of their signature cocktails, each unique with a freshness unmatched. The steaks were so thick and fresh, the mashed potatoes full of flavor, and the roastedveggies and salad were fantastic. The only thing I got a picture of was the dessert. Highly recommend. Prices are quite high. Particularly drinks. $3 or more over Ted’s. Old fashioned should not be $16. Not sure we’d try it again. The crème brûlée was fantastic though View all feedback.
On our second visit, we sat at the bar and ordered the fried pickles. Unfortunately, they were excessively breaded, and while I'm not sure if that's the intended preparation, they were more reminiscent of a fried Oreo than a proper pickle. However, we also tried the meatloaf, which was fantastic and earned another 10/10! As for service, our first experience was generally good, although our steak accidentally went to the wrong table and took a bit to be resolved. They didn’t charge us for it, and thankfully, it still tasted amazing! I inquired about non-alcoholic options since there weren't any listed on the menu, but the server couldn’t provide recommendations. On our second visit, the male bartender was extremely attentive and even created a delicious non-alcoholic espresso martini for us, which was a nice touch. The ambiance is outstanding—definitely a great spot for dinner or just a fun place to grab drinks! Overall, we had a fantastic time!
This place is fantastic. The drinks, dinner, and desserts are all excellent. It has a cool atmosphere—perhaps a bit loud and touristy—but to be honest, if I were a college student and my family came to visit, I would probably bring them here.
Located below street level, this restaurant has a cozy, speakeasy vibe with plenty of rustic wood paneling and a spacious bar. Since we arrived at 5:45 PM, we managed to beat the dinner rush, which started around 6 PM. The entire menu was incredibly tempting, and although I felt a bit guilty for not indulging in their impressive drink offerings—over half the menu is dedicated to liquor—our server was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The prices were reflective of a downtown Bozeman ski season, but they weren't excessively high. I would definitely return; we ended up spending $38 for a cup of soup, an entree, and a soft drink.
The food was served cold, and the waitress seemed to have forgotten about us, which might explain why our meals were not warm.
Everything was great. We'll definitely return. The orange sherry vinaigrette was exceptional!
