Beautiful meal through their seasonal "taste and test" event. Duck breast with black garlic and croquettes, short rib and passionfruit dessert with almond ice cream were the highlights. A lovely and unique selection of wine too. Great choice for a special night out View all feedback.
What Philip Bailey doesn't like about Sage Restaurant:
Went here for my anniversary, nice little interment restaurant and great service. However you may ask why 2 stars, the food was a huge let down with the exception of one course.I booked though Dimmi after reading the menu however when we arrived for told it was a tasting night, ok no issues. Only problem every meal was not great except the chicken was nice.At the end of the 5 course we where still hungry. I would muc... View all feedback.
What we love about this place is the salsa music and the atmosphere. Shared two pizzas we liked the toppings but the base was think and not crispy. Offers good wine selection.
This is our local bar and I love the garden setting. However my partner refuses to go there any more as the service is awful. They are always understaffed and also seem to run out of many items on the wine and beer list frequently. Such a pity as it is one of Canberra's nicest bars.
Great place, Met work colleagues here for after work drinks as well as a friend's 40th. Excellent pizzas and sublime cocktails from our man Bob on the bar!.
Charming little courtyard bar set in the historic Gorman House. Great atmosphere, fun and delicious sharing plates and pizzas. Staff are friendly and attentive with a clear passion for making you feel welcome. There's draught beer cider, cocktails on tap and an extensive spirit offering and wine list. I cannot recommend this place enough, whether it's a date night or a large gathering you will not be disappointed with this place. It has so much character.
We've never been disappointed when we stop in at the Mint Bar for a drink or two .... always great atmosphere with a sophisticated crowd ... service is prompt with the head chef of Sage always making an appearance to offer food suggestions or have a chat. Don be turned off by the colder months as there's ample outdoor heaters to keep everyone cozy. The menu always has a twist or two that keeps it interesting and it seems to change quite frequently.
