We stopped for lunch at Ceasu' Rau while passing through Brasov. We picked it up from the internet, so we did not make any reservation. Regardless, the staff were very helpful in finding us a table during rush hour considering also the coronavirus restrictions....The service was good throughout the meal, with our order being delivered quickly and the waiter being very attentive to our needs. We dined here a group of people, none of the dishes was well cooked, the taste was not there, quality of ingredients very low. We used to come to this restaurant in the past and everything was very tasty. Now I see a huge...change in quality of ingredients and taste of the food. The food was not well done. fries was cold, suppe too salty, Roman food too cold. service good, but not good enough. the gloomy. beware of the seeds from the acidic cherry.

Food was tasty, but we got something else than ordred, and the waiter brought an extra portion by mistake (group of 7) and said we will not be charged for it, but put it on the bill in the end. We sat on a coverd...and partially closed patio, very noisy wih lots of smokers. Not pleasant for family reunions.
Perfect restaurant for people that want to taste romanian local cuisine. No frills. Good all round restaurant!
Just 15 minutes walking from the old town, this local restaurant is the best option to have a typical meal in a unique atmosphere. They have a large menu with lots of delicious options and prices are very OK. I had the pork knuckle with...cabbage for only 31LEI (6,7€ and it was huge and delicious.
