Zur Erholung - Braunlage

Really nice and elegant this restaurant hotel just outside braunlage. we had dinner on Friday night and were impressed by the setting but also by the kitchen. so much wood, flowers, chairs and rustic-elegant tables, cloth tablecloths, and many objects exposed with goto. the courses are always more or less the same in the area: steak and cotoletta however were well cooked and accompanied by potatoes and mixed salads. like dessert a good caramel apple flambe' with ice cream and cream. educated waiters, adequate prices.

The menus are all in German so you may need a dictionary to translate, but the food is excellent and well presented. A large beer is 4.20 euros, and main courses consisting of pork schnitzel, chicken, pork medallions cost 14.50, 15.00 and 15.50 euros respectively.

Wij verleven in het hotel en hebben hier ook gegeten, prima benign duitse keuken. ook de child-friendly geen diepvries maar zelfgemaakte vissticks en kipnuggets. ik had eenmaal een just met sequinous stukjes varken (schnitzel, filet, medallions) met een lekkere paddenstoelensaus en eenmaal de entrecôte, both prima. het is een gezellig restaurant en vriendelijke bediening. prima prijs/kwaliteit.

Hotel is located just outside the town centre on bundesstraße. our rooms were located in the guest house opposite. the rooms were very simple furnished, a little dusty, bathroom very tight. everything seemed quite in the years. service, dinner in the restaurant and breakfast were ok.

More often have been there, otherwise always good.But this time not roasted meat and roasted potatoes, not even dressed brown roasts.Everything floating in a mushroom sauce.There was the cook until fast,restaurant was full.Maybe again try.
