View all feedback.
What Carla Kopp doesn't like about La Cupola:
Yesterday i had my dinner here with my friends. Very nice place, good view of the city. The wine and the plate was nice. Not enough choice in the menu, though. It was already late and for this it was getting dark. The small chandle on the table was not enough to see what we were eating. I think that music and some other details like small lights were missing for a such nice place. View all feedback.
La Cupola is an Italian restaurant at the top of the Natural History Museum. Definitely a very cool location with surely nice views in the daytime. Looking forward to coming back for lunch sometime when the weather is nice. This was my first time trying an Italian restaurant in Germany. I guess this would be considered German Italian food? Every dish had meat in it! While I guess we did order that, it didn't seem like that when we ordered... For the appetizer, I thought the dish would be something like Bresaola but instead it was (a bit overcooked) little steaks. The pasta had filet tips in it, which I thought would be small, but they were huge! Finally, the main course of lamb was excellent but so much meat! Very heavy dishes and definitely recommended if you love meat and pasta... Also the location in the museum is very cool.
It was not my first visit to this restaurant. High quality Italian food in very nice atmosphere. This time we went there for lunch and from the floor you have excellent view over the very flat city of Brunswick. The service is very focused...and friendly

Reservations are a must here if you do not want to be disappointed. I called two weeks earlier for a table at and was at first told it wasn't possible, when I asid there was an month old baby in the family and...we would not be spending all evening there, it was no probelm at all and we were given the slot until is half an hour longer than the TOP London restaurants give you. We were there for and had a delightful evening. The terrrace is fantastic with a wonderful view. The restaurant is elegant and the food excellent. There is blackboard with the specials and the menu itself is thankfully not operpowering. My filet of beef in Barolo sauce was perfect, the rest had pasta and were very satisfied. Service was attentive. We will definitely be returning
Make sure to reserve in advance, place gets full easily. Great food and view, service could be a little better, and the place was too bright we were looking for a more romantic feeling. But overall great night out
