The Finsterwirt or Finsterwirt restaurant is an institution in Bressanone. Inaugurated in 1870, the place is now the flagship of the South Tyrol kitchen. The origins have preserved a building located a few steps from Piazza Duomo, between the walls of which it is a privilege to eat the delights of chef Hermann Mayr. The menu is very large and offers a selection of traditional dishes, absolutely recommended, and the specialties of the week. We try a little of everything, stay in the sign of the South Tyrol gastronomy. Plates like deer chop with balsamic vinegar reduction, Tirol raviolis, with spinach, Pustertaler Sprinzen steak.. In short, there is everything, but meat is the main dish. And finally, the sweet, beautiful,... which will certainly not leave you with a bad taste in the mouth!
