Great meal. So glad someone recommended it to us. I had La Dordognaise, who came with a wonderfully garden duck quarter (legs and thighs served a large part of Au Grata in potatoes, a roasted apple, a baked potato and a piece of Fois grass with toast points. Good dinner at this place. Bring good food, plentiful food (you don't get out of empty belly for sure), very kind and helpful staff. The three stars are due to the only problem that is personally in this restaurant: prices. I eat potatoes with some meat and cheese, I can not spend in two people more than 40€ (to drink we took water) where the main course of the dish is potatoes. View all feedback.
Went to this restaurant on our last day in Brittany, before going back home. A real surprise among all the restaurants we did go in our 10 day trip to Brittany/Normandy Carole (waitress and manager) being so nice to the "lost couple" that arrived last minute without reservation and not speaking frenchA "Must visit" for dinner if you are in Brest or spending a day in the city and want to get some Northern French Cuisine meal in good ambiance, best quality/price relation and better service
I can't believe this restaurant isn't rated higher here. It might not be fine dining, but for a relatively low price they give you a platter full of most delicious potato-related things. My dish contained a baked potato filled with roquefort, another one with spiced butter, vegetable soup with grated cheese and croutons, a huge duck-potato-mushroom-cheese -gratin and salad with mayonnaise and duck slices. The cider we took with the food was also splendid. We simply had to return here the next day too. That's the best recommendation you can get.
I enjoyed cooking my steak on a hot stone and all the potato things that came with it. Very good.
Raw potato should not form part of a salad regardless of how much one loves potatoes.
I liked the idea: different ways of cooking potatoes. A nice surprise for all of us.
