Get their papaya salads (comes with sticky rice)! So many different flavors and toppings and the sour+spiciness is perfect for summer. There is limited seating area so if you live nearby maybe get takeout. View all feedback.
What Gladyce Trantow doesn't like about Thai Place:
Pad sees that Yaw is too salty. They contained 18% tip for us, but there is not much service except water for us to pour, which is not even fast. In the end, I spent $16 on not that good food. View all feedback.
Not even done with my meal but this is an easy 5*. Heat and flavors very reminiscent of my time in Thailand. Also tons of Thai speaking clientele, so you know it has got to be good. If you're able to handle heat and are adventurous, give dishes other than your typical pad Thai/drunken noodles a try. Those should be pretty good but you won't get a sense of their real taste compared to other Thai places. oh workers are crazy nice too (like most Thai places, but the main woman is also very empathetic)
Being new to Allston, I've been meaning to try all the restaurants around me, and seeing how this place is only short walk from my apartment I gave it a shot after work. I like that the menu's are QR codes (save paper), and the menu items have good photos and the prices are reasonable. Also, this place is amongst some of the later closing ones. Had a tough time choosing on a single appetizer, so I got their sampler which was actually really filling for what it was. The sauces are homemade in little cups and everything is seasons and tasted good. The fried chicken had some burnt ends, but I appreciate a burnt end every now and then. The staff was friendly, however the space itself is pretty small. Good to take a date, but it can easily feel overcrowded. When I ordered it was to-go which was ready hot in 15min. Definitely going again to try more of the menu as the sampler was missing some of the key apps I was hoping to get. Overall, I'm happy.
This is what Pad Thai supposed to taste like, would come back. Crispy chicken is surprisingly good too

This place is one of the best Thai Restaurants I 've visited. These recipes are authentic Thai dishes! I 'm Thai, so what I want is real Thai food, but some places don 't even hire Thai chefs. This place is 100% Thai Anytime I want Thai food, I go to ' Thai Place '
