Food is simple but fresh and good and price is reasonable.I had the scallops and the friand and my husband had the moreton Bay bugs and lemon meringue pie for dessert which was very nice and not overly sweet unlike most cakes and desserts in Australia - highly recommend this place View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Doug's Seafood Cafe:
Prompt service. Coffee had to be drunk quickly as arrived lukewarm and was too weak to be enjoyable. Barra chips and salad was tasty but too big a serving. None of us could finish our plate, even the male of our group with a robust appetite. I dislike waste and would prefer a smaller serving at a smaller price. Staff turned heaters on as soon as the sun went down which was welcome. View all feedback.

Doug's is easily Sandgate's best waterfront seafood takeaway joint.

Nothing better to pop down to Dougs and get your chips and scallops and sitting by the water with family and friend. Dougs takes you back to the way traditional Fish and Chips should be cooked. It is cash only - but that doesn't deter from the fans.
