Madame Wu - Brisbane

I have been here twice. First time was with my boss and we were told to hurry up and order as the kitchen was closing soon (this was at 1:30 in the afternoon on a Friday). The second time was after I had an operation and could not eat much (the other people at our table ordered lots of food) but could have liquids and when I advised the Manager of this he replied in a smug attitude “oh but you can drink wine can you?”. I have also had friends attend a dinner and were advised that they must have the banquet to which they replied that they did not want the banquet and would eat elsewhere (there were 5 adults and 1 kid) and then the restaurant changed their mind and let them stay (how generous of them). Restaurants can’t dictate what we are going to eat and seriously change your attitude towards your customers. I will never be back again.

Visited on my 18th birthday, it's a expensive restaurant so I'm hoping to have a good experience. The view was good since our seat was right next to the river, but it's also cold. The restaurant's deco is great. BUT, the waiter was not very patient, I mentioned we were next to the river, he did not turn on the heater until we asked him. During the dinner, our unfinished plate was taken without asking which I consider was very rude. No one filled up water for us, which I assume is because we were having wine( but I want water????) FINALLY, the fried rice and roasted chicken were too salty, like very (that's why I need water). And the tang sui chicken was waaaaay to sweet. The sashimi and lobster burger was good but certainly not fantastic. As a Asian, I would not recommend this restaurant is you want a good experience of food. But if you only care about the view then it's certainly a good place to go. After all, the only thing matters for a restaurant is their food...smh

Food to die for. Had the option 1 buffet menu, all of the dishes were delicious no complaints with the entrees and mains. The dessert option - there was only one option very strange not to my taste, but my partner enjoyed. this won't stop us we will be back again.

Luxe ambience, food was lovely, and cocktails were excellent ???? went here for a date night with friends; food was suitable for vegetarian and non-vegetarians alike, staff were great and helpful with recommendations. Would definitely go again!

I decided to bring my family here for a second visit as my first experience was quite good. To my disappointment, the quality of food was inconsistent, almost everything was too heavy on the salt and grease. We were initially seated outside but we moved to an indoor table when it rained, they cleared our entree away (more than half left) and didn't even bother to ask us if we still want it. We asked where our entree went and they said they are sorry for taking it away, didn't even bother replacing another one or taking off the bill.
