We had a meeting here before work, and it was very busy. Always a good sign. Coffees and some fruit toast.....all delicious. Would like to pop back for lunch some time. Located in a cute part of Brisbane......very village like and full of atmosphere My...only criticism, and it's a small one, is that the music was way too loud. We had to move to hear ourselves talk. What Aisha Mohr doesn't like about Salt:
The coffee is good, the menu works and the choices should satisfy most. Decor is getting dated and the seating outside needs a freshen up. Doesn't help when patrons feel the need to put their pooches on the furniture : . I will always grab...a coffee from here if in the vicinity. View all feedback.
I arrived around 7.40pm on a Saturday night, Parking was a nightmare though I managed to find the very last park behind salt underneath.
Service comment: Called ahead to see if they served brekkie all day and also asked if they were busy.
Good quality food, reasonable prices, and professional service make this a winning combo. Mid range but you pay for what you get.
Went to Salt for lunch with friends on a recommendation and the venue didn't disappoint. Interesting and broad winter menu including lovely warming meals such as lamb zucchini Moroccan style (this got our best meal vote), pork and beef meatballs in Napoli sauce - something for everyone. Service was very good but discreet. Will definitely be back. Might go for breakfast next time but will avoid the weekend as I hear they get very busy.
Modern restaurant with nice ambience in centre of Rosalie. The menu is quite short but well executed. Highly recommend the tasting plate including top notch falafel, good portions of pork belly, beautifully cooked calamari and corn fritters. The baked veges on this plate were also very good. Meat balls so-so. Nice desserts. Some soft furnishings improved the acoustics here so good for hearing impaired. Will be back!
