Looking for a quick brekky whilst shopping in James then Spoon could fit the bill. Food choices are many and varied with service reasonably fast. Good coffee and plenty of fresh juice choices make for a pleasant breakfast on the run. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Spoon Deli Cafe:
The atmosphere and service here is certainly buzzy and good. The food has great potential but needs refining. For eg poached eggs should be runny not hard. Both my parents and my eggs were hard. Failing that certainly worth trying. May have been a one off and worth giving another shot. Coffee is good and premises are clean. Will try again. View all feedback.

Came across the James Street Markets by SHEER chance (ok, so I made a guess-timate and this is where I ended up)ANYWAY...I decided to wait for my daughter at this cafe (found out she was a few streets over...yeh, was close enough)I was immediately drawn to the place by the flow of where the people were going and I just naturally gravitated to it.It's very cute inside and the ambience (to me) felt light, smoozy, chic, sheik, high end 30 dollar salad kinda place...nooo, they didn't have 30 dollar salads thereI kid you not, I rock in with my hip'ish kinda work jeans, $5 t-shirt & $2 flannel shirt (whew luckily I left the steel cap boots in the Beemer) ANYWAY...I ordered my Energy Burst juice and $15 Waffle special and sat by the wide, bi-fold'n windowsOne thing that hit me first...I felt very comfortable and immediately chill'd in this 'smoozy' (ok, so I'm kinda liking the word) environment which took me by surprise (pleasantly enough)The team members quietly and efficiently brought out my order...the juice was ok and I was nicely hydrated, but was still waiting for that 'energy burst'...mehThe waffles arrived (photo included says it all), but I will say, too doughy & too much baking powderFree entertainment supplied (in car park of course): Smoozy Merc's, VW's & Beemers (mine included, lol)...with their swanky owners dressed to impress (its not a new experience for me, but it was interesting none the less)...trust me, I was totally comfy in my drab, fashion-disaster outfit for that day, among these very nice and polite people JUST going about their business in the networking world...LOVE IT!
